Competition Participation Details
Registration Process:
For the age group of the entire musical ensemble (Takht) between 18 and 45 years old (age as of October 2025).
Registration Fees for the Competition:
- For Egyptians: 500 EGP, paid upon registration for the first stage.
- For non-Egyptians: 5000 EGP, paid only if the participant qualifies for the final stage.
(Important) If the contestant has not completed the payment, they can return to their registration details to modify or add information by entering their registered BasicInfo.
The Official Competition:
- The competition will take place at Cairo Opera House during the festival days, from October 16 to 25, 2025.
- The participating ensemble will present a mandatory piece from one of the Arabic music forms (Sama'i or Lunga) and another optional piece of their choice.
Important Notes:
- Those who have won any places in the last three years of the competition are not eligible to participate.
- Cairo Opera House will provide full accommodation and internal transportation for foreign contestants (those not residing in Egypt) during the competition.
- Cairo Opera House reserves the right to amend the terms and details of the competition as needed without prior notice.
