A Concert by Alexandria Opera Talents Development Center

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert by promising talents of the Alexandria Opera Talents Development Center at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Sunday, 17 November 2024, at 7 p.m.
The concert features students from:
• Violin Class trained and conducted by Dr. Nevin El Mahmoudy performing works by Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, Jenkinson, and others.
• Flute Class trained by Dr. Dalia Atef Emam performing various classical flute pieces.
• Clarinet and Saxophone Class trained and conducted by Dr. Hoda Hosni performing pieces by Joseph Kosma, Tchaikovsky, and others.
• Piano Class trained by Nagwa Safwat, performing pieces by Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Haydn, John Thompson, Omar Khairat, and others.
The Talents Development Centre was established with the aim of enhancing artistic taste and supporting talented individuals in various fields of art. It includes multiple departments such as piano, guitar, ballet, opera and Arab singing, flute, violin, oud, qanoun, oriental violin, ballet, and tap dance. Recently, classes for individuals with special abilities were added. The center regularly participates in various celebrations organized by the Cairo Opera House, along with holding concerts by its students on a regular basis.
