“A Joyful Night of Italian Operas” at Small Hall of Cairo Opera House*

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert titled "A Joyful Night of Italian Operas" by the Cairo Opera Company at the Small Hall on Friday, 14 June 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
Accompanied by Mina N. Hanna on piano and directed by Rania Gamal, the concert’s program includes arias, duets, and comic scenes from some of the most famous Italian operas including: "Le Nozze di Figaro" and "Don Giovanni" by Mozart; "The Barber of Seville" by Rossini; and "Don Pasquale" and "L'Elisir d'Amore" by Donizetti.
The concert is featured by the stars of the Cairo Opera Company: Rasha Talaat (soprano), Salma El Gebaly (soprano), Elhamy Amin (baritone), Ezzat Ghanem (baritone), Khaled Samir (baritone), Laila Ibrahim (mezzo-soprano) and Ibrahim Nagui (tenor).
The Cairo Opera Company was officially founded in 1964 and has a vast repertoire that includes more than 32 opera productions. Members of the Company performed notable roles at the most prestigious venues worldwide. Through years of dedication and diligence, the Cairo Opera Company succeeded in amassing a fan base of opera enthusiasts and music lovers.
