A Musical Night with Students of Dr. Mostafa Garanah

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a musical night by the students of Dr. Mostafa Garanah, who have won several international awards in piano (Shady Badr, Youssef Shendy, Zeina Qadoura and Mazen Alaa). The event takes place at the Small Hall on Tuesday, 30 April 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes classical works by L. v. Beethoven, F. Schubert, F. Liszt, F. Chopin and J. Brahms.
Dr. Mostafa Gharanah, former dean of the Higher Institute of Music (Cairo Conservatoire), decends from an artistic family: his father is is great musician, Dr. Refaat Garanah. Mostafa Granah received his Ph.D. from the Hochschule für Musik in Germany. He has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Cairo Opera Orchestra, and Cairo Symphony Orchestra.
