Abdel Halim Nowera Ensemble Celebrates Farid Al-Atrash Anniversary

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, presents a concert by Abdel Halim Nowera Ensemble for Arab Music, conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer, to commemorate the death anniversary of musician Farid Al-Atrash. It takes place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at the Main Hall, and includes selected works of the “King of the Oud,” performed by the ensemble’s Arab music stars.

It is worth mentioning that the Cairo Opera House presents several performances on its various stages in Cairo, Alexandria, and Damanhour during the coming December to commemorate the death anniversary of Farid Al-Atrash, who is considered one of the greatest Arab singers and composers.
