Ali El Haggar sings the works of Sayed Mekawy in “100 Years of Singing” concert series at the Cairo Opera House.

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, continues its the series of the artistic project “100 Years of Singing”, held in collaboration with the renowned Egyptian artist, Ali El Haggar.  As part of the project, a concert will be presented celebrating the works of composer Sayed Mekawy. The concert features artist Tarek Fouad, is conducted by Maestro Wagdy El-Fawy, and directed by Ahmed Fouad. It will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Main Hall.

The program includes a selection from the most important and famous works composed by Sayed Mekawy for the great icons of the golden age of music.
