Amr Selim Meets Alexandria Opera House Audience

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a concert by the famous musician and pianist, Amr Selim, at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Thursday, 12 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
During the evening, Amr Selim performs a varied selection of Arab music from works that he adopted and rearranged for the piano.
Egyptian pianist Amr Selim was interested in music since his childhood. He started playing the accordion and then switched to the piano. During the university years, Selim participated in competitions and won many awards. After graduating, he founded his first musical band and worked on rearranging rare songs. He accompanies the renowned Egyptian artist Medhat Saleh in all his concerts. He was honerd at several festivals, including the Arabic Music Festival in 2019 and Citadel Festival in 2021.
