Arab & International Compositions by Egyptian Harp Ensemble at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a concert by the Egyptian Harp Ensemble dedicated to the memory of the late artist, Dr. Samira Michel. 
The concert features Manal Mohie El Din, Mona Wassef, Amira Hamed, Toaa Salah, Sama Soliman, Nourhan Hamdy, Amira Sameh, Mayada Mostafa, Salma Saber, Riona Ashraf, Beruin Mohamed, Hala Mohamed, Nour Mohamed, and Nada Mostafa, along with musicians Karim Wassef (bass guitar) and Doha El Guirzawy (percussion) and takes place at the Small Hall on Friday, 6 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a selection of Arab and international compositions, such as: Waltz No. 2 by Shostakovich, Evening Music by Weber, Traditional Mexican Melodies, Sayed Darwish Medley, Traditional Welsh Song (arranged by Daniel Burton), Solfeggietto by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Libertango by Astor Piazzolla, The Moorish Garden by Nancy Gustafson, Helwa Ya Baladi by Jeff Barnel and Marwan Saada, Two Ragtime pieces by Scott Joplin, Waltz from Masquerade Suite by Aram Khachaturian, España Cani, and Abdel Halim Hafez Medley.
