Arab Singing, Riq & Children's Choir at the Summer Festival in Damanhour*

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues its Summer Festival with a concert by the Talents Development Center at Damanhour Opera House on Saturday, 3 August 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The evening features popular traditional and national Arab songs performed by students of the Arab Singing Class, led and trained by Dr. Soheir Hussein, accompanied by students of the Riq Class, led and trained by Ihab Abbas, with the participation of the Alexandria Opera Children's Choir, trained and led by Dr. Mohamed Hosni.
The Talents Development Center was established with the aim of fostering and supporting young talents in various fields of art. Students of the Center can choose from multiple classes like piano, guitar, ballet, opera, Arab singing, flute, violin, oud, qanoun, oriental violin, ballet, and tap dance. Recently, classes for individuals with special abilities were added. The Talents Development Center participates in various celebrations organized by the Cairo Opera House, along with holding concerts featured by its students on a regular basis.
