Arab Takht Ensemble at Gomhouria Theatre

Under the title “Amgad Ya Arab Amgad” (Glory to Arabs), the Arab Takht Ensemble conducted by Dr. Yasser Moawad, presents a concert at the Gomhouria Theatre on Friday, 15 December 2023 at 8 p.m.
The program includes a selection of famous Arab songs and (patriotic) national compositions.
Since its establishment, the Arab Takht Ensemble presents classical Arab takht music and songs. Assembling a number of skilled musicians and singers, the Ensemble occupies a significant place in the international music scene holding successful concerts in various Arab and foreign countries. The Arab Takht Ensemble participated in numerous international festivals and has won international awards including the Creativity Award at the Music and Singing Festival in Turkey (Istanbul, 2010). In 2023, the Ensemble received an award from China for its notable role in “Raising Arab Cultural Awareness”.
