Arab Voices Blend Harmoniously With Omani Compositions at the Main Hall

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, the Cairo Opera House continues the activities of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference, on Monday, 21 October 2024 with two concerts.
At the Gomhouria Theatre, a concert by “Konooz” Ensemble, led by Mahmoud Darwish, presents Arab music masterpieces.
At the Main Hall, under the title “Omani Night,” Arab singing stars mesmerize the Festival’s audience with songs composed by the prominent Omani musician, Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi, under the baton of Maestro Amir Abdel Mageed.
Khaled bin Hamad Al Busaidi was honored at the opening ceremony of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference. He is one of the most famous Omani composers, having composed numerous national and theatrical songs, with over 200 musical pieces. Al Busaidi has founded Sabco Arts in 1982, the first art production company in Oman, contributing to the production of many distinguished artistic works. Artists from Oman and the Arab world, such as Mohammed Abdou and Abdul Mageed Abduallah, have sung his compositions. He has made significant contributions to the Omani Song Festival and supports emerging talents.
