“Artworks for Every Home” Exhibition by Amal Hussien at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed and the Ministry of Culture, is hosting an exhibition titled “Artworks for Every Home” by Dr. Amal Hussein at Ziad Bakir Gallery from Saturday, 2 November until Thursday, 7 November 2024,.
The exhibition features around 25 artworks in various sizes and shapes; all showcasing verses from the Holy Quran. These pieces combine calligraphy with intricate designs on natural paper, incorporating a variety of stones. The exhibition aims to revive the essence of tradition, bringing the beauty of calligraphy and the preservation of Quranic verses into every home to uplift both spirit and mind.
Notably, Dr. Amal Hussein graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the Cairo University and began studying Arabic calligraphy a decade ago. She has since learned the art of letters, lines, and composition in various calligraphy styles under the guidance of skilled masters.
