"Bent El Balad" Ensemble Hosts Amr Selim at Gomhouria Theatre

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a concert by "Bent El Balad" Ensemble, under the baton of Maestro Affaf Shokry at Gomhouria Theatre on Thursday, 6 June 2024, at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a number of famous Arab songs featured by Sabreen El Nagely and Basma Atta, with the participation of the famous pianist and music distributor, Amr Selim.
"Bent El Balad" Ensemble was founded in 2000, and is one of Egypt’s first women ensembles. The Ensemble gave several concerts at the different theaters of the Cairo Opera House in addition to participating in the Citadel Festival for Music and Singing. "Bent El Balad" includes a distinguished group of female instrumentalists who have participated in several concerts accompanying major singers in Egypt and the Arab world.
