Cairo Opera House Celebrates Valentine’s Day at Its Venues in Cairo and Alexandria

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, celebrates Valentine’s Day through various activities and events held at its different venues in Cairo and Alexandria throughout the month of February.
*At the Main Hall*
Abdel Halim Nowera Ensemble for Arab Music, conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer, and with the participation of the talented diva Marwa Nagui, joined by Tamer Abdel Nabi, Dalia Abdel Wahab, Farah El Mogy and Moamen Khalil, holds a concert on Thursday, 13 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
Additionally, the National Arab Music Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Dr. Mostafa Helmy, presents a concert featuring a selection of romantic songs performed by Ahmed Effat, Hend El Nahhas, Ashraf Walid, Enas Ezz Eldin and Mai Hassan on Friday, 14 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
The Cairo Opera Ballet Company presents Tchaikovsky’s world-famous ballet “The Sleeping Beauty”, accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Ahmed Farag and directed by Erminia Kamel on 24, 25, 26, and 27 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
*At the Small Hall*
Harpist Amira Hamed, features a selection of international compositions on Friday, 14 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
The Cairo Opera Company performs Menotti’s Opera “The Telephone”, accompanied by pianist Greg Martin and directed by Hazem Roshdy. The evening also includes a selection of romantic songs and is held on 20 & 21 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
*At the Gomhouria Theatre*
The Talents Development Center holds a concert at on the evening of Friday, 14 February 2025.
*At Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theater”*
A concert featuring Yasser Soliman and Ayat Farouk, and led by Dr. Maged Sorour is held in Friday, 7 February 2025 at 8 p.m.
Furthermore, the Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Mahmoud Bayoumi, host composer Hany Shenouda in a concert on Friday, 14 February 2025.
On Saturday, 15 February 2025, the Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arab Singing, conducted by Maestro Alaa Abdel Salam, features Alaa Ayoub, Yomna Hassan, Walaa Talba, Yasser Said, Wael Abou El Fotouh, Mostafa Saad, Mohamed El Khouly, and qanun player Ali El Kheibry.
