Cairo Opera House Launches the Summer Festival 2026 in Cairo and Alexandria

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Reda El Wakil, announced the program of the Summer Festival, which was held during July and August under the supervision of Eng. Yasser Shaalan, Head of the Artistic House for Music, Opera and Ballet. The festival was hosted at the Open Air Theatre in Cairo and Sayed Darwish Theatre. The festival opened at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 22 July 2026 at Open Air Theatre in Cairo and continued daily until Thursday, August 6.

Sayed Darwish Theatre also hosted performances by renowned stars Ali El Haggar and Medhat Saleh, accompanied by composer and pianist Amr Selim, who also presented a solo concert on Thursday, August 6
