Cairo Symphony Orchestra Celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Brazilian-Egyptian Diplomatic Relations

“Brazilian Flair 2024” at the Main Hall

As part of the celebrations held to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Brazilian-Egyptian Diplomatic Relations, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Daghar, organizes a concert titled “Brazilian Flair 2024” by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra at the Main Hall on 3 February at 8 p.m.
Under the baton of Maestro Ahmed El Saedi and with the participation of James Strauss di Silva (flute), Victoria Kapralova (violoncello), and Reda El Wakil (baritone), the concert features works by famous Brazilian composers like Francisco Mignone, Giulio Briccialdi, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Antônio Carlos Gomes, Marisa Rezende, Antônio Francisco Braga, Alberto Nepomuceno, José Gomes de Abreu and Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez.
The diplomatic relationship between Egypt and Brazil can be characterized as warm and cooperative. Both countries enjoyed longstanding friendship that reflects direct collaboration in various fields especially in addressing significant international issues.
