“Cavalleria Rusticana” & “Le Villi” by Alexandria Opera Talents Development

Akin to endeavors of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture to foster and support promising talents in various fields of creativity, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, organizes a concert titled “Two Operas in One Night” by the Talents Development Centre in cooperation with Sobhi Opera Studio and Crown House Art Center at the Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Friday, 10 May 2024 at 7 p.m.
During the concert, students of the Opera Singing Class, trained and conducted by Dr. Sobhi Bidair, perform excerpts from the most famous operas, including “Cavalleria Rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni and “Le Villi” by Giacomo Puccini.
The Talents Development Center was established to enhance artistic taste and nurture talented individuals across various art domains. It encompasses multiple departments and regularly organizes events to encourage and acknowledge the efforts of students in their respective courses.
