Children Choir of Talents Development Center to Participate in the Capital Forum of Children’s Arts*

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, and under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, Chairman of the Cairo Opera House, the Children Choir of the Talents Development Center is participating in the second edition of the “Capital Forum of Children’s Arts, which is held at the Cairo Opera House on Saturday, 7 September 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
Conducted and trained by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar, the Children Choir of the Talents Development Center features masterpieces of Arab songs from the golden age. On the other hand, the Choir for Children with Special Needs is conducted and trained by Mervat Hamam.
On the sidelines of the event, representatives from the different departments of the Talents Development Center introduce the most prominent activities the Center offers. Questions and inquiries from parents interested in teaching their children music, singing, or other arts are addressed while explaining the requirements and fees for enrollment.
The Talents Development Center was established with the aim of promoting artistic taste and fostering talented individuals in various fields of art. The Center includes multiple departments such as piano, guitar, ballet, opera and Arab singing, flute, violin, oud, qanoun, oriental violin, ballet, and tap dance. Recently, classes for individuals with special abilities were added. The Talents Development Center participates in various celebrations organized by the Cairo Opera House, along with holding concerts featured by its students on a regular basis.
The first edition of the Capital Forum of Children’s Arts was held in the New Administrative Capital on 5 August 2023.
The second edition of the Forum is held at the Cairo Opera House and is witnessing the collaborative efforts of all sectors of the Ministry of Culture. Diverse activities are showcased during this special event, including folk arts, puppet theater, singing, circus, animated movies, workshops, and more.
