Cinema Club Shows “Mommies Group”

The Cinema Club at the Cairo Opera House will screen “Mommies Group”, a movie featured by Yosra El-Lozy, Ruby, Dareen Haddad, Mahmoud Hafez, Mohamed Tharwat, and Hazem Ehab and produced by Mohamed Rasheedy. The script is written by Ghada Abdel Aal and Ehab Blaybel.
Following the movie, a panel discussion is going to be held in which the director of the movie, Amr Salah, and the scriptwriter, Ghada Abdel Aal, are hosts. The panel will be led by Heba Hamza and prepared by Noura Ghoneim under the supervision of Amin El Serafi. The event will take place at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 27 September 2023 at 7 p.m.
The movie was released in 2023 and is a family comedy about a school parent’s WhatsApp group that brings together three mothers from different social classes. It depicts the biggest challenges faced by mothers in raising kids amid the challenging living conditions and how life became unpredictable and chaotic when they abandon their life responsibilities.
