Cinema Club Shows “Wesh fi Wesh” (Face to Face)

As part of the cultural and intellectual activities organized by the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher, the Cinema Club screens “Wesh fi Wesh” at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 26 November 2023 at 6 p.m.
Starring Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Anoshka and Bayoumi Fouad the movie tackles various marital problems, social conflict, and generational and class differences. Starting with one heated argument between a husband and wife, the events escalate to a series of unfortunate incidents when the couple decides to involve others (mainly family members) in their problems.
Following the movie, a panel discussion is held in which Ahmed Fahmy (film producer), Walid Al-Halafawy (director) and Dr. Alia Abdel Aal (Professor of Media Sociology) are hosts. The panel is led by Mostafa El-Kelany (critic).
