Classical Evening for Flute, Cello & Harp*

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a classical concert at the Small Hall on Friday, 24 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The evening features Safaa El Gendy (flute), Amany Ghoneim (cello), Amira Hamed (harp) with the participation of pianist Naghamya, and violinist Yasser Ghoneim.
The concert’s program includes classical, romantic and twentieth century works written by prominent composers such as Mozart, Dvořák, Glinka, Doppler, Andres, Casado, and Piazzolla; in addition to music pieces from the Polish, Hungarian and Russian folklore. During the concert, a composition from Japan is also performed celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Japanese-Egyptian cultural cooperation.
Musicians participating in this concert are professors at the Cairo Conservatoire, and members of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and the Cairo Opera Orchestra. They have previously presented several concerts on the different stages of the Cairo Opera House.
