Damanhour Opera House Cultural Salon Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The Cairo Opera House celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Damanhour Opera House Cultural Salon on Monday, 11 December 2023 at 6 p.m.
Chaired by Balegh Abdel Nabi Zidan, the event hosts the Egyptian weightlifting champion Moustafa Rameeh and the religious chanter Hend Anwar. The evening also includes a performance by the Disability Arts Group.
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated every year on 3 December around the world. Proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations, the observance of the IDPD aims to support and raise awareness about disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
