Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, the New Chairman of the Cairo Opera House

Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, issued a decision to assign Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam as the Chairman of the Board the National Cultural Center “Cairo Opera House”.
Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam graduated from the Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University in 1996 with honors, specializing in cello. Currently, he is professor at the Faculty of Music Education - Helwan University.
From 2016 till 2023, Alaa Abdel Salam was the conductor of the Religious Song Ensemble at Cairo Opera House. In 2023, he became the conductor of the Alexandria Opera House Ensemble for Arabic Music and Singing.
