Essam Khalifa in a Poetic Evening at Cairo Opera House

In tandem with the cultural and intellectual activities of the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher, a poetic evening titled “The Concerns of the Homeland and the Children of Palestine” by the poet Dr. Essam Khalifa is held at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 7 February 2024 at 7 pm. Moderated by the TV presenter Shahinaz Gawish, the evening includes a music interlude by the oud duo Dina Abdel Hamid and Ghassan Al Youssef.

The evening features selections of Essam Khalifa’s poems in a harmonious encounter with music emphasizing the power of words and the magic of rhythms.
Essam Khalifa holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery; a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the American University in Cairo; and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales in London. He has won several awards in the field of poetry and has represented Egypt in many conferences. Khalifa has published more than five poetry anthologies, in addition to many scientific works in Arabic and English. He is a Member of the Egyptian Writers Union and the Egyptian Human Resources Development Chamber.
