Events of the 31st Citadel Festival for Music & Singing Continue

For the first time at Mahka Theatre, Walid Tawfik experiences nostalgia with his fans; “Sout El-Asema” Choir performs works from the Golden Era of Egyptian music; and percussionist, Saeid El-Artist, plays his mesmerizing rhythms.

The events of the 31st Citadel Festival for Music & Singing organized by the Cairo Opera House under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher, Chairman of the Board, continued with three consecutive concerts held at Mahka Theatre.
The Lebanese star, Walid Tawfik, revived memories of his old music hits that gained viral fame during the nineties in Egypt and the Arab world. On the other hand, Sout El-Asema” Choir featured works from the Golden Era of Egyptian music receiving admiration and applause from the Citadel audience.
Meanwhile, Saeid El-Artist and his band mesmerized the audience with the lively rhythms of his percussion compositions.
