Fayza Ahmed’s Masterpieces at Alexandria Opera House*

As part of the ongoing activities aimed at preserving the heritage of Arab singing, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert by the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble, under the baton of Maestro Mohamed El Mogy, at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Thursday, 13 June 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program features masterpieces of Arab songs alongside the most famous songs of Fayza Ahmed performed by Ahmed El Waziry, Hanan Essam, Noha Hafez, Yasser Suleiman, Hanan El Khouly, Ahmed Sabry, Mohie Salah, and Angham Moustafa.
The Heritage Arab Music Ensemble was founded to revive the Arab music heritage, a purely Egyptian legacy that was produced by a number of great musicians through successive generations. Members of the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble are selected from the most skilled musicians and distinguished voices of heritage keepers. Notably, the Ensemble performed its first concert at the Arab Music Institute in 2004
