“From the Bosphorus to the Nile” Concert at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert titled "From the Bosphorus to the Nile" featuring Doaa Saber (flute); Yasmin Sami Ibrahim and Adham Sabry (violin); Suzane Saber (viola); Mohamed Ahmed (cello); Amr Seif (double bass); and Radwa El Behairy (percussion) at the Small Hall on Monday, 20 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a number of Egyptian and Turkish compositions written for chamber music, such as "Sama'i Nahawand for String Quartet” by Shady Hanna, "White Miniatures" by Ramz Sabry Samy, String Quartet No. 1 by Ahmet Adnan Saygun, "Rhapsody for Flute and String Quartet" by Rageh Daoud, and "A Little Suite for String Quartet” by Gamal Abdel-Rahim. Additionally, several works arranged by Oğuzhan Balcı are performed, including "Karacahisar Qila," "Sultani Yegah Sirto,” “Üsküdar" (Kâtibim), and "Nihavend Longa" by Kemani Kevser Hanım.
