The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues its summer festival activities with a concert featuring the renowned musician, Hany Shenouda, and the Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Mahmoud Bayoumi, at the Open Air Theatre on Friday, 19 July 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a selection of Hany Shenouda’s compositions, alongside scores from famous dramatic works.
Hany Shenouda is a renowned Egyptian composer and music arranger who discovered many Egyptian vocal talents. In 1977, he formed El Masryeen Band (The Egyptians), one of the earliest ensembles in Egypt. Shenouda composed many successful tracks which exceeded till now 900 tracks.
The Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra was officially founded by Dr. Nevine El Mahmoudy and gave many successful concerts throughout Egypt. Noteworthy, the Orchestra participated in several national and international festivals which were held within the framework of the cultural cooperation between Egypt and countries all over the world.
