“In Depth” Exhibition at Ziad Bakir Gallery

The Cairo Opera House hosts the “In Depth”, an exhibition by Sarah El-Dabousy at Ziad Bakir Gallery on Monday, 27 November 2023 at 6 p.m. The Exhibition runs until Monday, 4 December 2023, featuring approximately 35 paintings that embody the El-Dabousy’s profound and contemplative practices and experiences. Using gouache colors and various materials, the artworks draw inspiration from the vibrant colors of marine creatures, forming three-dimensional images that utilize light to highlight defining elements and give depth and distance in the artist’s work. Noteworthy, Sarah El-Dabousy has created a number of paintings titled “The Depth of Resilience” in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
Sarah El-Dabousy is currently an Assistant Design Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
