“Inspiring Places” at Alexandria Opera Cultural Salon

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is holding a cultural salon titled “Inspiring Places” at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Monday, 13 May 2024 at 7 p.m.
The event is by is moderated by Sherif Bakr and hosts the Egyptian novelist Mai Khaled.
Mai Khaled is a broadcaster of English programs in the Egyptian Radio. Besides translating and editing television dramas, she has also published a number of her own novels and short story collections including: “Egypt in Serbia” and “The Magic of Turquoise”. In 2016, her novel, “Gymnasium”, won the Best Novel Award at the Cairo International Book Fair.
