Magdy El Husseini, Guest of Honor at Opera Cultural Salon

A special evening is held on Wednesday, 20 September 2023 at the Small Hall of the Cairo Opera House. The Opera Cultural Salon is hosting the great musician Magdy El-Husseini.
The discussion is going to revolve around the artistic career of Magdy El-Husseini, his most important compositions and his cooperation with renowned artists and singers.
Magdy El-Husseini (1942) is an Egyptian keyboardist who played with several bands throughout his musical career. At the age of sixteen, the great musician Riad El Sonbati chose him to join Umm Koulthum band. He also joined Abdel Halim Hafez band and remained a member of the band until the death of Abdel Halim in 1977. He worked with great Arab and Egyptian musicians like Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Farid El-Atrash.
