Ministry of Culture Celebrates the Legacy of Farid El Atrash at Cairo Opera House

In tandem with the Ministry of Culture's endeavors to honor iconic Arab artists, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert by the Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arabic Singing to commemorate the death anniversary of the legendary musician Farid El Atrash. The concert is conducted by Maestro Alaa Abdel Salam and is held at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Thursday, 5 December 2024 at 8 p.m.
The concert’s program features a selection of Farid El Atrash's most beautiful songs, performed by Wael Abul Fotouh, Amir Refay, Yomna Hassan, Mohamed El Kholy, Mostafa Saad, Nada Ghalib, Yasser Saeed, and Waleed Salama.
The Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music & Arab Singing was established in 2004 and debuted at the Arab Music Festival. The Ensemble has a vast concert activity and a wide-ranging repertoire.
