On New Year’s Eve, Three Concerts at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House welcomes New Year 2025 with three magnificent concerts across its different venues. Adorned with festive decorations, colorful lights, Christmas trees, and Santa Claus, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, hosts on Tuesday, 31 December 2024 at 8 p.m. three concerts:
At the Main Hall, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Spanish Maestro Juan Jose Navarro, with the participation of the Italian soprano Laura Esposito, features a selection of classical works by renowned composers such as Emmerich Kálmán, the Strauss Dynasty, Jacques Offenbach, and Franz Lehár.
At the Small Hall, Kawkab El Sharq Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar and with the participation of the qanun player Dr. Maha El-Arabi, performs masterpieces of Um Kulthum’s songs.
At the Arab Music Institute, Abdel Halim Noweira Ensemble for Arab Music continues the “Kulthumiat” concert series, conducted by Maestro Salah Ghobashy featuring Um Kulthum's iconic songs.
