“Oriental Evening on the Strings of Qanun” at the Arabic Music Institute

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a concert titled “Oriental Evening on the Strings of Qanun” by the Talents Development Center at the Arab Music Institute on Monday, 11 November 2024 at 8 p.m.
During the evening, talented qanun students, trained and led by Dr. Saber Abdel Sattar, feature a varied selection of Arabic music pieces.
The Talents Development Center was established with the aim of promoting artistic taste and adopting talents in various fields of art. It includes various and diverse sections, including piano, guitar, ballet, claquette, operatic and Arabic singing, flute, violin, oud, qanun, oriental violin, ballet and claquette. Classes have also been added for people with special needs. It is used to participating in various celebrations organized by the Opera House on various occasions, in addition to holding periodic parties for its students to encourage them and appreciate their efforts.
