“Oriental Strokes” by Manal Mohei Eldin at Open Air Theatre

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is hosting a concert titled “Oriental Strokes” by the renowned harpist, Dr. Manal Mohei Eldin at the Open Air Theatre on Friday, 31 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a selection of famous oriental melodies that have been rearranged for the harp.
Manal Mohei Eldin grew up in an artistic family and began playing the harp at the age of ten. After graduating from the Cairo Conservatoire with distinction, she received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service to study at the Academy of Arts and Music. In 1991, she became the first harpist of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. Manal has performed in many successful concerts locally and internationally, building a large fan base. Noteworthy, she has represented Egypt in numerous international forums.
