"Orphan's Day" Celebration at Cairo Opera House

27 March 2025

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, organizes a great celebration on the occasion of the Orphan's Day on Friday, 4 April 2025 from 2p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Small Hall, Open-Air Theatre, the Music Library, and Salah Taher Gallery witness the diverse activities of this celebration, in addition to hosting a number of Egyptian stars. Invitations were extended to the children of a number of civil society institutions and orphanages to attend this special event.
In a statement, Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam said that the Orphan's Day is a purely Egyptian social occasion that was launched years ago with the aim of drawing attention to the children who have lost their parents. He continued that the Cairo Opera House's celebration of the Orphan's Day provides an opportunity for the youth to express themselves and discover their potential.
The events are scheduled to include performances by the students of the Talents Development Center.
