Salsa dance reaches back to Africa, and later evolved in the Caribbean and New York. This dance is a rich, complex blend of African rhythms with Latin and European musical elements. Originating as an expression of resistance and hope among oppressed communities, salsa has been enriched by influences from Cuba, Mambo, Cha-cha, and Latin Jazz. The dance embodies this cultural fusion, combining smooth African movements with European dance styles.
“Peace in Diversity” does not only celebrate dance and music but also honors a deep cultural history that exceeds borders and unites everyone in a spirit of diversity and harmony.
Ensalsate is a Colombian company from Cali, renowned for its performances that feature some of Colombia’s finest dancers and musicians, delivering captivating salsa routines full of rhythm, art, and celebration.
