The Cairo Opera House is hosting an exhibition titled “Jouri” by the Syrian artist, Ramia Mawlawi. The exhibition opens at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 May 2024 and runs until Tuesday, 4 June 2024.
The exhibition showcases 48 paintings created in oil and acrylic paints depicting various types of flowers in vibrant colors, with a particular focus on Damask roses through diverse styles and ideas.
Ramia Mawlawi is a Syrian visual artist born in 1981. She studied under several prominent art professors, including Mohamed El Azhary and Wagih Yassa. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, workshops, and art forums, receiving several awards and certificates of appreciation, including those from the International Forum for Folk Arts and Heritage Crafts, the 16th Basamat Forum, and the Kemet International Forum in Aswan.
