Rich Artistic Program During Ramadan at Cairo Opera House

Spiritual Vibes During the Holy Month of Ramadan at Cairo Opera House
Under the auspices of Dr. Nevine El Kilany, Minister of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is going to present a rich artistic program celebrating the holy month of Ramadan. “Ramadan Nights” featuring Islamic performers and spiritually-focused groups, in addition to aspiring young artists are scheduled at the different venues of the Cairo Opera House.
Beginning on Thursday, 21 March 2024, the Open Air Theatre will host Wael El Fashny, El Hadra for Sufi Singing Ensemble, Dina El Wedidi, Saad El Oud, Sheikh Yassin El Tohamy, Nesma Abdel Aziz, and “Sout El Asema” Choir.
A concert by the superstar Medhat Saleh, accompanied by pianist and music arranger Amr Selim, is held at the Main Hall on Sunday, 31 March 2024 at 9:30 p.m. as part of the activities of “Ramadan Nights”.
On the other hand, the Small Hall will host a number of evenings featuring the musical and lyrical heritage of various Islamic and Arab countries. These events will start at 9 p.m. and are held in collaboration with the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector and embassies of Islamic and Arab countries in Egypt.
