Samar Tarek and Aziz Maraka at the Citadel Festival

The Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing, organized by the Cairo Opera House, continued its vibrant program with an evening featuring Egyptian singer Samar Tarek and Jordanian artist Aziz Maraka.

Samar Tarek opened the evening with a distinctive performance, presenting a selection of her own songs alongside carefully chosen classics from the Arab music repertoire, presented by her unique artistic style.

She was followed by Jordanian singer Aziz Maraka and his band, who presented highlights from his musical project, known for its fusion of diverse musical forms and contemporary influences. There was an enthusiastic response from the audience, which filled the historic Citadel venue.

The evening reflected the rich diversity of the 34th edition of the Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing, whose Al-Mahka stage brings together different generations, musical styles and artistic perspectives. It once again affirmed the power of music to build lasting bridges between generations and bring audiences together through the universal language of art.
