Six Concerts on the Third Night of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, the activities of the 32nd Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed and directed by Dr. Khaled Dagher, continue. On Sunday, 13 October 2024, six concerts are held in Cairo, Alexandria, and Damanhour.
At 6 p.m., the Main Hall hosts Operetta "El Ashara El Tayeba" by the prominent late composer Sayed Darwish, conducted by Maestro Ahmed Atef, with dramaturgy and direction by Diaa Eldin Zakaria, under the artistic supervision of Dr. Khairia Gamil and Dr. Hoda Ahmed.
At the Fountain Theatre, masterpieces of Warda and Baligh Hamdy are presented by opera stars: Yasser Soliman, Noha Hafez, Mohamed El-Kholy, and Somia Wagdy. In the second part of the evening, the distinguished diva, Marwa Nagy, mesmerizes her audience under the baton of Maestro Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam.
Concurrently, the Arabic Music Institute hosts a concert by Maestro Aziz Elmasry, with the participation of the Tunisian singer, Maliha.
At Gomhouria Theatre, a concert titled "Terhal" (Wandering) by the Syrian artist, Lena Chamamyan and conducted by Maestro George Kalteh is held.
Simultaneously, the Festival’s activities extend to Sayed Darwish Theater, where Nada Sharara (Jordan), Nada Ghalib, Ghada Adam, Mohamed El Tokhi, Mohamed Metwally, and qanun player ,Dr. Majed Sarour feature prominent music works.
At the same time, the Damanhour Opera House host a "Syrian Night" featuring Waad El Bahry and Majd El Qassim.
The accompanying scientific conference continues at the Small Hall discussing "Contemporary Arabic Song: Diverse Musical Sources”.
