The Cairo Opera House issued a statement regarding the decision of the renowned singer Mohamed El Helw to retreat from the participation in the first concert of the "100 Years of Singing” concert series. The statement emphasized that El Helw’s decision stemmed from a disagreement that arose between him and the orchestra conductor, Maestro Hisham Gabr.
The Cairo Opera House stressed on the fact that it is impartial in the matter under dispute and assured that its doors will remain always open for cooperation with all artists and music professionals.
