The Art of Oud Accompaniment

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, organizes a cultural salon titled “The Art of Oud Accompaniment” with the participation of the oud player, Mario Said, at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 12 June 2024 at 7 p.m.
Moderated by the poet Ashraf Tawfiq, the cultural salon includes a musical performance presented by Soul Ensemble.
Mario Said, an oud player and composer, graduated from the Arab Oud House where he is currently teaching. He founded his own musical ensemble holding concerts in various places.
Ashraf Tawfiq is a writer, poet, and screenwriter. He was born in 1981 in Egypt and holds a BA in English literature from the Faculty of Arts, Mansoura University. Tawfiq has published many books and collections of poems.
