The Minister of Culture Approves the Program of the 31st Session of the Citadel Festival of Music & Singing

45 Concerts During 14 Days and 5000 Seats for the Guests of the Citadel Festival With a New Outdoor Theatre
Under the auspices of Dr. Nevine El Kelany, Minister of Culture, and supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher, the Chairman of the Cairo Opera House, the 31st Session of the Citadel Festival of Music & Singing will take place from 25 August 2023 to 7 September 2023. The Cairo Opera House organizes this annual Festival in cooperation with Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
Each day will feature two concerts at Al-Mahka Theatre followed by one concert at the new outdoor theatre. A huge screen will display the concerts on stage for the audience.
The program of the Festival will include a wide variety of concerts: Ezz El Ostool, Nesma Mahgoub, State of Harmony, Faia Yonan, Cairo Symphony Orchestra, Wust El-Balad, Nadia Moustafa, Hany Shaker, Simone, Hisham Abbas, Mona Burkhardt, Moustafa Hagag, Moustafa Shawki, Ghalia Benali, Opera Stars for Arab Music conducted by Mohamed El Mougy, Ali El Haggar, Faculty of Music Education Choir, Aziz Maraka, Said El Artist, Walid Tawfik, Hisham Kharma, Lena Chamamyan, Ahmed El Emari, Sheikh Yassin El Tohami, Abeer Nehme, Mohamed Mohsen with Cine Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ahmed Oweda, Nesma Abdel Aziz, Medhat Saleh with Amr Selim conducted by Ahmed Amer, Talents Development Center Choir, Omar Khairat with Cairo Opera Orchestra conducted by Nayer Nagui in addition to international troups.
