“The Story of My Life” by Farouk Moustafa at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House is hosting an art exhibition titled “The Story of My Life” by Farouk Moustafa at Salah Taher Gallery. The exhibition will be running from 16 November till 5 December 2023.
The exhibition showcases 60 oil paintings by Farouk Moustafa depicting different aspects of the artist’s life. Influenced by the beauty of nature and Egyptian heritage, customs and traditions, he creates exquisite artworks with a unique artistic vision.
Farouk Moustafa, a plastic artist and one of the October War heroes, was born in 1945. He grew up in an artistic environment and learned from many of the great plastic artists. He obtained a BA in education and is a member of the Fine Arts Syndicate. In 1994, Farouk Moustafa was ranked among the best 40 artists worldwide having his artwork displayed at numerous ministries and agencies. During his artistic career, he has held more than 30 solo and group exhibitions locally and internationally. Noteworthy, Farouk Moustafa has won several local and international awards, medals, and certificates of appreciation.
