Wael El Fashni & Al Tanoura Heritage Dance Troupe at the Inauguration of Cairo Opera’s “Ramadan Nights”

Under the auspices of Dr. Nevine El Kilany, Minister of Culture, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, launches its “Ramadan Nights” artistic program at the Open Air Theatre, starting on Thursday, 21 March 2024 at 9:30 p.m.
The evening includes a colorful whirling performance at the Cairo Opera outdoor area presented by Al Tanoura Heritage Dance Troupe in cooperation with the General Authority for Culture Palaces.
Afterwards, the Egyptian singer Wael El Fashni, accompanied by his band, presents a selection of supplications, chants and hymns that articulate the spirit of the holy month.
In this regard, the Cairo Opera House is going to present a rich artistic program celebrating the holy month of Ramadan. “Ramadan Nights” featuring Islamic performers and spiritually-focused groups, in addition to aspiring young artists are scheduled at the different venues of the Cairo Opera House.
