Works by Baleegh & Warda in the Cairo Opera Spring Feast Celebration

As a part of the Cairo Opera House spring feast celebrations, a concert by the Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arab Singing, conducted by Maestro Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, is held at the Main Hall on Thursday, 2 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert will feature Marwa Nagui and a number of Arab music stars including Yasser Saeed, Mohamed El Kholy, Amir El Refaie, and Walaa Tolba.
During the first part of the concert, Arab singing stars including Yasser Saeed, Mohamed El Kholy, Amir El Refaie, and Walaa Tolba present works by the famous Egyptian composer, Baleegh Hamdy. In the second part, Marwa Nagui sings a number of famous songs of the renowned diva, Warda.
The Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Music and Arab Singing was established in 2004 and debuted at the Arab Music Festival. The Ensemble has a vast concert activity and a wide-ranging repertoire presenting traditional forms of Arab music like: Al-Muwashshah, Al-Qasida, Al-Dor, Al-Taqtuqa, Al-Monologue, etc.
