Workshop by the Spanish Guitarist Miguel Trápaga at the Alexandria Opera House

Guitar Class Students of the Alexandria Talents Development Center Meet the Spanish Guitarist Miguel Trápaga

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher and in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in Cairo, held a workshop by the Spanish guitarist Miguel Trápaga. The workshop was attended by the guitar class students of the Alexandria Talents Development Center at Alexandria Opera House under the supervision of Dr. Hoda Hosni.
The workshop introduced the different guitar-playing techniques, as well as highlighting the history of the instrument; its most famous players, its capabilities and the wide range of music types played by the guitar.
Guitar students of the Alexandria Talents Development Center praised the rich learning experience and confirmed that the workshop contributed greatly to the development of their skills. They pointed out that the cultural and artistic encounter with the Spanish guitarist Miguel Trápaga was invaluable.
Later, Miguel Trápaga gave a concert at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre” on Sunday, 5 November 2023 at 8 p.m. and a concert at the Small Hall of the Cairo Opera House on Thursday, 9 November 2023 at 8 p.m. The two concerts featured a selection of the most popular Spanish and Mexican compositions for guitar.
