World Press Freedom Day - Cultural Panel at Cairo Opera House

On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, the Cairo Opera House is organizing a cultural panel at the Small Hall on Wednesday, 8 May 2024 at 7 p.m.
The event is moderated by Wael Al-Samri, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Al Youm Al Sabea newspaper and hosts Khaled El Balshy, Head of Egypt’s Journalism Syndicate, and Mohamed El Baz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dostor newspaper. The panel discussed the World Press Freedom Day, which is commemorated globally on 3 May to raise awareness on the importance of press freedom for sustainable development and the exercise of universal human rights.
