Legacy of Religious Singing at 31st Citadel Festival for Music & Singing

On the 11th night of the 31st Citadel Festival for Music & Singing organized by the Cairo Opera House under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Dagher, Chairman of the Board, massive crowds of spectators enjoyed an ecstatic spiritual evening.
The rich legacy of religious hymns and chants transmitted through generations were sung by the prominent Islamic chanter, Yassin El-Tohamy, who succeeded in creating a unique spiritual atmosphere at Mahka Theater. He introduced a selection of his classic repertoire that highlights the qualities of the noble prophet Mohamed - peace and blessing be upon him,

In the first part of the evening, Ahmed El-Emary presented a selection of the most famous praise and religious songs.
